Shashi has over 17 years of experience in Silicon Valley working for companies like Cisco, Aruba Networks, Vyatta/Brocade, Nuage Networks, and Midokura. She started her career as a software developer and later became a senior architect designing and implementing software for embedded systems, VPN technologies, and Network Management. She has held various roles in Technical Marketing, Customer Advocacy, and Product Management. Her experience and hands-on knowledge make her a strong advocate for the customer. Her main areas of technology focus are Cloud technologies, network monitoring, Data Center architectures, Network Function Virtualization, Software Defined Networking, Scalability and Performance. Today, as co-founder of Corlina, she is responsible for Product Architecture and Execution. However, she shares many roles with her esteemed co-founders. Her leadership style is to motivate people to work across teams to solve a problem for the customer and to build a solution that is both delightful and intuitive to use. Shashi holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Mysore University, India and a Master of Computer Science degree from Santa Clara University, Santa Clara, USA. Outside of technology, Shashi travels the world and is an amateur artist. Shashi actively volunteers with local charities. She volunteered for several years as a counselor at Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence, an agency that provides support and refuge to victims of domestic violence. More recently, she volunteered at Prerna which is a new organization helping refugees integrate into mainstream society in the Bay Area.
